BARCELONETA

Trópico is honestly one of my favorite brunch spots in Barcelona. It's a Latin-inspired brunch with original flavors that really stand out from the usual brunch dishes. We had the patacones with guacamole and cheese, which were so good, and the arepas were delicious too. The staff was super friendly and gave us great recommendations. The specialty coffee was really good, and the red fruit & cream cheese pancakes they recommended were exceptional - the perfect sweet ending to the brunch. Special mention for the location in Barceloneta, with a sunny terrace. For me, definitely one of the best brunch addresses in Barcelona.

If you're looking for a brunch in Barceloneta, you have to try Trópico Barceloneta 💛🍳 The experience was incredible from start to finish. Everything was delicious, you can really feel the quality and care in every dish 😋 But without a doubt, what made it even more special was the service. Cristian looked after us brilliantly: super friendly, down-to-earth and recommended exactly the best things. You can tell when someone genuinely enjoys what they do and makes you feel completely welcome 🤍 I went with a friend and we left so happy, already wanting to go back. We'll definitely be back 💫🍹

As always, there's no better way to spend a weekend than coming back to Trópico. Food 10 out of 10, great service and a great location. The cachapa pabellón criollo with extra avocado is something you absolutely must order. 100% recommended.

Our waiter Jero was nice, welcoming and attentive. We had the Açai Bowl and Eggs Benedict - both were delicious. Make sure to order the classic cinnamon roll, they warm it up - super tasty. Coffee is good too!

The food and drinks here are seriously good. I had the Huevos Rancheros on two separate occasions and the quality and presentation was deliciously consistent both times. The friendly and welcoming staff provided great service and even remembered me days later when I returned.

Excellent food and service - it was the best breakfast I have had while in Barcelona. Highly recommend the arepas con perico, yoghurt & mango bowl, and the bombanana pancakes. The presentation and interior were both very beautiful as well.

We had the best brunch of our Spain trip in this place .. the food, the smoothies , the vibe and the coffee - everything was 5 stars + .. loved our time here and Jero made sure we were royally taken care of .. will 100% visit again ..

I love this place, I come almost every morning for my coffee and sometimes for food, and I have to recommend the micheladas 😮‍💨🫠 thanks guys, everyone's super friendly, excellent service.
